Axelar network and Immutable are now integrated, providing users with seamless access to the leading Web3 games from 50+ connected blockchains – and delivering a powerful level-up in scalability and reach for developers building the future of gaming.
Immutable zkEVM is the Polygon-based ZK-rollup blockchain within Immutable’s Web3 games platform. It is a chain for games that offers EVM compatibility, low cost, massive scale and Ethereum-level security.
Integration with Axelar network means:
· Supercharged user onboarding by giving games direct access to Ethereum L1 users.
· Players can bridge assets to and from Ethereum L1, making deposits and withdrawals even simpler with Immutable Passport and Immutable Checkout.
· Games will have the ability to scale across multiple blockchains.
"Web3 games deploying on Immutable zkEVM, coupled with Immutable Checkout, can now connect to player wallets across the largest network of blockchains. Players will be able to seamlessly interact in-game with digital assets stored on any connected blockchain through Immutable Passport," said Michael Powell, Head of Product Marketing at Immutable.
In addition, IMX, the native utility token of the Immutable ecosystem, will be bridged securely to the new Immutable zkEVM environment. IMX is used to pay for transaction fees and incentivize users and developers.
